Rachel Hutchisson Named 2017-2019 Chair of The Giving Institute

CHICAGO, IL – Rachel Hutchisson of Blackbaud, Inc., (NASDAQ: BLKB), has been named Board Chair of The Giving Institute. She was officially inducted on August 1 and will serve in this role through July 31, 2019.
Rachel Hutchisson is Vice President of Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy at Giving Institute member firm Blackbaud, the world’s largest cloud software company powering the social good community, which includes nonprofits, foundations, corporations, education institutions, healthcare institutions and individual change agents. Hutchisson is experienced in building and leading corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, forging strategic relationships and sharing expertise to further the field of social good, and her work puts her at the center of critical conversations driving social innovation. Hutchisson is responsible for global CSR, leading the company’s 3,300 associates in efforts to serve and give both through professional and personal avenues.

Hutchisson is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Dickinson College and holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri. In addition to her role as Giving Institute Board Chair, Hutchisson serves on the Boards of Directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Learning to Give and the Coastal Community Foundation.
