Summer in the City - volunteer opportunity for partners and spouses
9:00am - 2:00pm
Founded in 2002, Summer in the City ("SITC") has changed the way young people volunteer in Detroit and the impact their work has on the city and region. Because SITC values collaboration and regionalism all projects are done in partnership with organizations in Detroit. SITC brings together volunteers from all across Metro Detroit to engage each other and invest their creativity and compassion in Detroit.
Partners and spouses traveling with GI members will have the opportunity to volunteer on a full-day mural painting project at a Detroit community center.
